Los Angeles, CA, August 28, 2003 - Metin Bereketli, Hollywood’s charitable international artist and the creator of one-of-a-kind “Healing Art” therapeutic art program, has been interviewed by TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) for 20 million TBN viewers during the 55th Annual HUMANITARIAN AWARDS Awards Dinner, August 21, 2003.
During the interview conducted by TBN President and Founder Matthew Crouch, Metin expressed his belief in promoting understanding and respect among all races, religions and cultures through advocacy, conflict resolution and education. “All my life I’ve worked towards these same goals and prayed for a better rapprochement among world’s greatest religions and cultures,” Bereketli said.
Matthew Crouch, a prominent leader in American broadcasting, is also the Executive Producer of the new hit TV series “D.H.S., Department of Homeland Security.” The series in which Alison Heruth-Waterbury and Timothy P. Cavanaugh play the leading roles, was presented to the 55th Annual HUMANITARIAN AWARDS Awards guests through a special program during which Metin Bereketli’s works were also exhibited as the Official Artist of this brand new dramatic series.
After the TBN interview, Metin personally signed for Mr.Crouch and Mrs. Crouch a collectible reproduction of his powerful DIVERSITY-1 painting.
An internationally acclaimed Los Angeles based painter, Metin's contemporary works have been featured in galleries and exhibitions worldwide including the Smithsonian, Sotheby's Science Center, Paramount Pictures & Universal Studios and Hollywood & Highland.
Metin’s style and generosity has earned him the esteem of many American leaders, such as Presidents Bush and Carter.
