Los Angeles, CA - Metin Bereketli, a well-known Los Angeles artist known for his striking DIVERSITY-series of original paintings, donated signed reproductions of his original paintings for L.A. SHANTI's 12th Annual Wine Tasting & Auction.

Marc Haupert, Executive Director of SHANTI (which means “Inner Peace”) told Metin “your support makes it possible for us to raise much-needed funds so that more clients can access the services of L.A. Shanti.”

“By mobilizing your compassion through your generous gift, you have demonstrated that you know the importance of the healing power of human connection, which is especially needed in these difficult times. Your financial support allows us to continue making a difference for all communities facing life-threatening illnesses and adversity, providing Tools for Living in a time of turmoil and uncertainty,” Haupert told Metin.

In its 20th year, L.A. SHANTI’s primary service areas, Emotional Support, Prevention Education, Positive Living for Us, the Women’s Programs and Volunteer Programs continue to make possible the highest quality of life for individuals and families affected by HIV, as well as ensure that others are not infected.

An internationally acclaimed Los Angeles based painter, Metin's contemporary works have been featured in galleries and exhibitions worldwide including the Smithsonian, Sotheby's Science Center, Paramount Pictures & Universal Studios and Hollywood & Highland.
